About Us

HEEG (Higher Education Entrepreneurship Group) is a collaborative network of enterprise educators and promoters, whose participants provide insight, ideas and time to develop events which are interesting and useful for our community.

Since its formation in 2004, we have helped raise the profile of the entrepreneurship agenda, ensuring that it is given a high priority at national, regional and local level. It has brought together a group of people involved in a similar area who are keen to share knowledge and experiences with others. Originally funded by SEEDA, the network is now self-funding through institutional subscriptions, sponsorship and event registrations.

HEEG events typically attract delegates from 30 universities every year. This indicates real demand across the sector. It also demonstrates that the network develops high quality events through its university partnerships.
