Global Sales Strategies for Ambitious Entrepreneurs

02 Mar 2010

Informatics Ventures (sponsor of IEEC 2009) have been working with entrepreneurs from the MIT Entrepreneurship Center (entrepreneurship.mit.edu) for 3 years on a sustained programme of training for spinouts and startups.

The impact has been tremendous and they are seeing tangible results from this practitioner based Entrepreneurship Education in the form of increased sales, stronger entrepreneurial leadership and successful rounds of Angel investment. Not to mention a hard to measure impact on the ambition level of startups and spinouts and much stronger and purposeful networking.

Informatics Ventures are keen on increasing UK and European participation on these workshops beyond the c.300 entrepreneurs from Scotland that have benefited. They are running the below series of workshops which may be of interest to HEEG members:

Global Sales Strategies has been aligned with Informatics Ventures hosting of the 2010 Stanford Roundtable on Entrepreneurship Education (Europe) which will be in Edinburgh at the Informatics Forum on 8th-10th Sep 2010 (ree.stanford.edu). The dates were chosen to align with IEEC 2010 too.

Additionally, Kenneth P Morse and Laura Barker Morse will be running a Global Sales Strategies for Ambitious Entrepreneurs in London on 15th - 16th April 2010 hosted by Microsoft BizSpark (www.microsoft.com/BizSpark) at their customer centre in London. More details on this are at: www.global-sales.org (Note: this is not an Informatics Ventures/University of Edinburgh workshop).
