Higher Education Entrepreneurship Group (HEEG) is a network of academics, business development, entrepreneurship professionals, careers services staff, senior managers and students based in Higher Educations Institutions (HEIs) across London and South East England.

HEEG aims to increase the capabilities of Higher Education to develop more enterprising students and more graduate business start-ups through up-skilling staff and sharing best practice.

Getting beyond ‘enterprise’: Defining and communicating enterprise for successful engagement

Date: Wednesday 28 June

Time: 10:00 a.m to 16:00 p.m.

Location: University of Sheffield

This one day ‘Enterprise Exchange’ event will enable delegates to:

  • Explore the language used by educators and employers to describe enterprise, entrepreneurship and employability skills in students
  • Identify barriers created by this language and consider how these affect our work and impact, and influence students’ ability to articulate their skills
  • Contribute to initial discussions on the development of guidance on the language of enterprise education
  • Network with enterprise and entrepreneurship educators and a range of employers from across the UK.

The European Perspective- Innovative approaches to delivering enterprise/entrepreneurship education
